Diamond compound paste is made up of micron-sized synthetic diamonds, natural diamonds, polymicron diamonds, or cBN particles that are used in hard disk drives, wire dies, stone semiconductors, dies, metallurgical, metalworking, construction, electro-optics, and ceramic applications.
Diamond compounds provide special benefits for a variety of applications. It offers superior thermal conductivity in semiconductor applications. It offers superior wear resistance in dies and wire dies. However, mold polishing is the most popular use for it. It can remove even the smallest scratches and flaws from the mold surface because it is extremely hard and abrasive. In order to create high-quality parts, it also enables the mold to have a very smooth surface
We supply a wide range of grit sizes, from ¼ micron to 60 micron. The standard diamond powder that customers prefer is shown in the table below.

- Maintain a clean polishing area.
- Assign a polishing instrument to every grade level. Every tool needs to be kept in a separate box.
- As polishing tools are used, they gradually become impregnated and get better.
- Carefully wash your hands and the workpiece in between grades.
- When polishing by hand, apply diamond paste to the tool. While machine polishing, apply paste to the workpiece.
- Use a 90-degree angle to polish any existing scratches. When old marks are removed, this helps increase stock removal.
- Coarse grits and high pressure are necessary for high material removal. Low pressure and the finest grits are necessary for finish polishing.
