This 38A AO Type 01 >4-inch toolroom wheel is perfect for grinding a variety of tool steels, including heat-sensitive steels, at light to moderate feed rates. Its friable aluminum oxide construction ensures cool, burn-free cutting. The wheel is made with a vitrified bond that can be used with CNC cutting tool machines, as well as cylindrical and surface grinders, and consistently provides excellent dimensional accuracy and balance. This multipurpose wheel can also be used on super alloys and soft carbon steels.
